In this role your key task is to safely maintain continuous plant and equipment working with process and engineering teams to react to, and rectify, plant breakdown or mal-operation. You will be able to identify root cause of equipment failure, propose solutions and purchase materials needed to carry out required work. You must be able to demonstrate the highest standards with respect to health, safety and the environment and have the ability to contribute to on-going continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and systems. You will also be used to following written procedures and Permits to Work to specified quality standards.  You will be required to be available for reasonable levels of overtime and call outs in order to maximize plant availability.


The successful candidate will have a recognised trade apprenticeship or relevant similar qualification ideally with respect to E & I. You will have a working knowledge of variable speed drive systems, as well as a solid understanding of instrumentation and controls used in a modern chemical plant. We are looking for a team player, who is self-motivated and has a safe and responsible approach to work. A willingness to adopt new practices, and flexibility to cover the shift E & I role on occasions is also required for the role.
