Architectural Assistant Part 2
Conrad Consulting are currently recruiting on behalf of a busy & award-winning Architectural Practice based just outside of Sevenoaks, Kent. Due to an increase in workload they currently require a RIBA Part II Qualified Architectural Assistant to join their dynamic team on full-time permanent basis.
As a Part II Architectural Assistant you would work with the Project Team, under the guidance of your RIBA qualified Architectural mentor on the design and development of projects from concept
stage through to completion of a project. This will include involvement in elements of Architectural work to support your development and experience towards completion of your Part III examination.
ArchiCAD & REVIT experience is very desirable.
Role Responsibilities:
• Take part in the briefing process and help record information from the client.
• Assist in the production of Accommodation Strategies, Feasibility Studies and Utilisation and Area Forecasts.
• Help to review and comment on project programmes
• Input into Deliverables Schedules for the architectural teams and all associated consultants
• Develop concept design sketches and help develop the design utilising our BIM authoring tool ArchiCAD (Full training will be provided)
• Work with our Visualiser to help develop renders and 3D animation of projects.
• Assist with the completion of Stage Reports and any other necessary reports required for projects.
• Attend and participate in client project meetings and present if necessary architectural designs and reports.
• Work with the architectural team to help produce information necessary to submit Applications to statutory authorities.
• Assist in the review of design packages with Architect for client sign off.
• Assist in the recording and management of the developer/contractor during construction.
• Maintain PEDR record with your Architectural mentor and discuss Part III development options.
• Uphold the reputation of the Practice at all times to existing and new customers, such that they place repeat business or recommend us to others.
• Assist with the compilation of bids and tenders.
A highly attractive salary and benefits package would be on offer to the successful applicant, likely to be in the range of GBP24,000 - GBP28,500 per annum dependant on experience.
