Our client, a tenant-focussed Housing Association based in Gloucestershire, is currently recruiting for a Development Officer to join them on a permanent basis.
The salary for this position is GBP34,144 per annum.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
* Undertaking acquisition and development work, from site identification to practical completion and final
account, adhering to the Association's development procedures
* Ensuring that all documentation is available from the consultants and contractors and that development files
are up to date and complete
* Preparing and maintaining scheme financial feasibilities, development budgets, cash flow forecasts,
monitoring spend on site and ensuring Homes England grant claims are made within timescales
* Appointing and briefing consultants, contractors and solicitors in accordance with the Association's
development procedures
* Preparing development Board reports for project approval
* Liaising with Local Authority partners and the Homes England to maximize the availability of affordable
housing grant
* Carrying out consultation meetings including project presentations with Local Authorities, Parish Councils,
residents and other stakeholders
