Professional Technical is currently seeking to recruit an experienced industrial door engineer to join a well known industrial doors specialist who are looking at expanding their team. You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and installation of roller shutters, overhead doors, sectional, dock levellers, loading bays, and security doors.
Job Title: Industrial Door Engineer
Location: Reading
Salary: GBP27,000 - GBP29,000 realistic first-year earnings of up to GBP40,000 (including overtime)
Benefits: Company van with fuel card (private use permitted), mobile phone, ipad 2% contribution pension scheme, 25 days holiday.
The role is predominantly a field based role situated in and around the Reading/London/Milton Keynes areas, a company van is provided for the role and the successful door engineer will be paid hourly, with working commencing upon the engineer leaving the house in the morning (travel is paid in addition to basic salary). The role will involve servicing, maintaining, and installation of industrial doors.
To be a credible candidate for this service engineering role, you will need to satisfy the following minimum requirements:
- Experienced engineer within the industrial door industry
- Good mechanical and electrical background
- Service and maintenance skills essential (installations experience beneficial)
- 17th Edition - ideal but not essential
- Automatic door experience is beneficial
