Overview:

This is an office-based account management role which involves both reactive and proactive sales & marketing of both end user customers, and business clients in order to generate finance and insurance sales.

As a sales role it is expected that the jobholder will be able to negotiate and close their own leads at which point they will work with our Funding partners. In doing this the jobholder will assist the Area Sales Manager in the achievement of their volume and income targets, as well as work towards separately set targets.

Duties and Responsibilities: Brokerage in:

* Negotiate finance terms and rates with customers providing written quotations in accordance with company requirements.

* To help our introducer partners with applications to our credit team.

* To support and grow the relationships with our introducer.

* Produce necessary reports and measures for introducers, to maintain effective account management.

* Focus on driving the development and success of financing.

Syndication

* Develop funding relationships with our customers to fund assets

* To assist in placing excess business with a third party funder, maximising income whilst maintaining customer relations

* To maintain and enhance third party funder relationships where possible

* Secure customer details and financial information, analyse and interpret management/financial information and then prepare credit proposals for submission to the Funding partners

General Duties & Marketing

* Provide input and support to the delivery of suitable and regular campaigns through planning, preparation and follow up activity

* Build and maintain strong working relationships with Sales Support and other internal staff.

* Maintain an up to date knowledge of technical, legal and internal developments relevant to finance and insurance programmes and implement or recommend necessary and appropriate changes, involvement, and investment by the company

* Promoting campaigns to raise awareness and win additional business.

The jobholder will possess the following skills:

* Ability, confidence and desire to negotiate with customers; providing solutions to meet their needs whilst delivering profitable business

* Ability to work closely with the Internal sales manager in order to provide the highest level of service

* Confident in communicating with customers (both internal & external) via phone/ email/ face-to-face
