Mental Health Social Worker, Preston
We are now recruiting for a Social Worker to join the Community Mental Health Team based in Preston.
This is initially a 4 week placement but for the successful candidate, it could lead to a more long term position within the team.
Although a fast paced role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, this is a highly friendly and supportive team to work for offering long term benefits and a high level of job satisfaction.
Your duties in this team will include:
* Working with service users who have severe and enduring mental health problems
* Undertaking care act assessments, carers assessments, commissioning and reviewing packages of care
* MDT Working and safeguarding
* Completing tribunal reports
* Carrying a caseload of service users who are subject to Care Programme Approach and undertaking a duty role
Experience and Qualifications required:
* Degree in Social Work
* HCPC registration
* 12 months or more experience within a Mental Health Social Work role
* A committed and hardworking persona able to work to a potentially busy schedule
* A high level of confidentiality and excellent communication skills
We are ideally looking for someone who can start immediately but we can consider those with notice periods of up to 2/3 weeks.
