Our Client is a highly successful registered charity offering free housing advice, homelessness and poverty support and resources in Kettering and the surrounding areas of Northamptonshire. The charity has been serving disadvantaged beneficiaries for over 30 years and is now entering a new and exciting phase.
We are recruiting for a full time Project Manager to join the team on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2019.
The purpose of this role will be to undertake a range of project based activities, services and interventions with vulnerable members of the community including those who are rough sleeping, homeless, at risk of homelessness, unemployed and living in poverty.
Main Responsibilities

  1. To provide a wide range of support, advocacy, positive activities, interventions, training and services to disadvantaged members of the community.
  1. To undertake detached/street based, digital, outreach and centre based activities within a diverse range of settings.
  1. To facilitate and undertake specific project work as necessary.
  1. To utilize and create opportunities to: informally and socially educate; improve life skills; and achieve positive outcomes and impact.
  1. To refer beneficiaries to external services/agencies if necessary.
  1. To provide support to colleagues and volunteers within the charity in order to inform and enhance their practice.
  1. To maintain the accurate recording of client contacts and feedback within statistical software packages.
  1. To prepare statistical reports, written reports, case studies, portfolios of learning and summarise informal feedback regarding services amongst other monitoring systems.
  1. To meet defined objectives and targets relating to service delivery and specific project work.
  1. To undertake a range of consultation and evaluation processes with beneficiaries as required.
  1. To actively engage beneficiaries with the projects and develop their role.
  1. To report as appropriate within a range of internal strategic and operational meetings.
  1. To maintain and develop alliances with a wide range of key partners.
  1. To deliver all thematic co-production processes contributing towards the 'Voice of the User' being enabled, heard and acted upon at all levels.
  1. To comply with all Safeguarding; reporting all designated service delivery interventions and disclosures to management.
  1. To undertake all relevant administrative tasks as necessary.
  1. To adhere to the charity's policy and procedure.
  1. To attend meetings and training as necessary.
