An outstanding opportunity for a laboratory technician / chemistry graduate to join a reputable manufacturing company with 40 manufacturing facilities across the world on a 6-month contract. The company has a history spanning over a century and have built a reputation for delivering high quality and sustainable products to a diverse client base.
This role would suit an experienced chemist / laboratory technician, or recent chemistry graduate with lab experience ready to kick-start their career with a world-renowned manufacturer.
As the laboratory technician / chemist / chemistry graduate, you will be responsible for:
* Analytical testing on products.
* Keeping accurate records of work undertaken.
* Calibration of equipment.
* Raising any non-conformance reports.
* Lab housekeeping, safety auditing and monitoring stock levels.
To be a successful laboratory technician / chemist / chemistry graduate, you will have the following:
* Proven QA / QC lab experience.
* Recent chemistry / scientific graduates with lab experience will also be considered.
In return, the laboratory technician / chemist / chemistry graduate will receive a salary of circa GBP28,000 (including shift allowance).
The hours of work would be 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts.
