Job Role:
Our client is looking for an electrically biased multi skilled maintenance engineer to strengthen their existing engineering team based in Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will be an electrically biased maintenance engineer with experience of working in a fast paced, PLC driven, manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the site Engineering Manager, and other technical personnel, in minimising machine downtime by prioritising and introducing improved electrical maintenance programmes and continuous improvement activities.
- To support the manufacturing areas by responding effectively to equipment breakdowns, carrying out scheduled maintenance work and being proactive on the correction and modification of reoccurring machine processing faults.
- Responsible for all electrical engineering and maintenance of on site facilities and machinery.
- Fault finding on electrical / mechanical faults in an effective and efficient manner.
- Assisting with machine installation.
- Pro-active in the reduction of downtime and prominent in the continuous improvement of the process within the department.
- Responding to reactive, predictive and PPM issues.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship Trained Electrical Engineer
- Electrical Bias with Mechanical experience
- HNC / HND
Hours of work:
