The Finance Strategy Group in Devon Finance Services is looking to recruit one permanent Assistant Accountant, and one fixed term.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment in corporate finance, providing information and solutions for other parts of Devon Finance Services. 
The primary role is to help the Senior Accountants in the production of the Annual Statement of Accounts for Devon County Council and Devon Pension Fund. This will require excellent ability with Excel to analyse and interpret financial data. You will need to have good communication skills: liaising with the actuary, external audit and other external organisations. 
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified by no later than Wednesday 19th September. Interviews will include a short test using Excel.
