My clients are currently seeking a UX & UI Designer to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that are specialists in their field and offer fantastic career progression.
Your duties will include:
* Assisting with the designing of websites
* Liaising with in-house developers and Product Management to ensure work is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
* Understanding stakeholder requirements so you can achieve their expectations
* Participating in internal and external workshops
* Researching products thoroughly to ensure that you have a clear understanding of the project you are working on.
* Carrying out evaluations throughout to ensure projects are at a high standard.
* Drawing upon existing design standards and pattern libraries, as well as identifying opportunities to expand them where necessary.
* Providing developers detailed design concepts, through annotations and/or verbal briefings.
* Seeking feedback from other team members to improve designs
* Working inline with company policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* 2 Years previous experience in a UX and UI designer role is essential
* Experience working with design tools such as Sketch, Axure, or Adobe Creative Suite
* Experience in planning, designing and executing User Research methodologies
* Excellent communication skills face to face and over the phone.
* SCE/GCE qualifications in both maths and English are essential
* Degree, qualification or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Product design or related fields are essential.
