If you have a track record of managing and leading multiple services, this is a fantastic opportunity to support the ongoing success of a well-established charity.
Royal Voluntary Service is an innovative charity inspiring and enabling people to give the gift of voluntary service to enrich and support their communities. For 80 years, Royal Voluntary Service has been making a huge difference to people in communities, at home and in hospital and we are now seeking a Contracts Operations Manager to join our team working across the North of Scotland. Internally, this role is known as Commissioned Services Operations Manager.
In this important role, you will have the opportunity to help maintain Royal Voluntary Services' high standards and support and lead teams who have a genuine passion for what they do.
As the Contracts Operations Manager, you'll oversee Royal Voluntary Service's commissioned contracts, including those with the NHS, ensuring all services are delivered in-line with SLAs, policy and procedure.
Ensuring all services are delivered in line with performance targets and local area growth plans, you will seek to maximise income potential through establishing partnerships that will advance Royal Voluntary Service objectives.
Working with the Community Directorate and teams throughout Royal Voluntary Service, you will ensure that activities are delivered cohesively both locally and regionally. You'll work with Service Managers, providing coaching and mentoring to enable them to successfully deliver contracts and ensure that participants, volunteers and employees are supported and feel valued.
A resilient, organised leader, as the Contracts Operations Manager, you will also need to be able to communicate effectively, forge strong working relationships and work to meet objectives and deadlines.
So, if you are the leader Royal Voluntary Service is looking for and are ready to step up to a new challenge that will push your skills and further develop your capabilities, this may be the role you've been waiting for.
To be considered, you will need:
- Experience of managing multiple service types within a charity or commissioned services setting with demonstrable strong financial and analytical skills
- Experience of managing and motivating teams of employees and volunteers that are geographically dispersed
- Specific knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care agenda and Integrated Joint Boards in Scotland, NHS Scotland, local authority/Scottish Government commissioning and Grant giving bodies
- The ability to build positive and effective relationships and partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
- A full, valid driving licence.
