SERVICE ENGINEER (ELECTRONICS)
STOKE ON TRENT AREA
FULL TIME PERMANENT
GBP24K PLUS BENEFITS
Due to continued success, our Stoke On Trent based client is looking to recruit an experienced Service Engineer to work out of their site in Stoke On Trent, close to Newcastle Under Lyme, Stone, Leek and Crewe. This position will be to deal mainly with North Staffordshire based clients but could also involve out of area visits so flexibility is important.
The main focus of this role will be as follows:
* Maintenance, installation and repair of products.
* Fitting of components in the warehouse and customer sites to agreed standards and technical specification
* Briefing the customer on the practical use and maintenance of equipment
* Responding to breakdowns within the company's call out policy and carrying out the necessary fault diagnosis and repair
* Assisting in the delivery and collection of products and supplies
* Liaising with sub- contractors
* Submitting accurate completed job sheets to allow for accurate invoicing and monthly private mileage claims
The ideal candidate for the Service Engineer will have the following experience:
* An electrical or electronic qualification - such as City and Guilds, 17th edition, ONC or NVQ
* Good attention to detail and an orderly approach to completing jobs
* Strong customer service focus
* A background working with or strong knowledge/experience of electronics
* Full clean driving licence
