Business Administrator
Thames Valley Park, Reading

Salary: £34,000 - £36,900 depending on experience

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Business Administrator. This is a contract role based in Reading for 18 months.

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the on site health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.

Job Description
The role is for a UK based administrative support person aligned to two directors (Global Financing Desk and EMEA Business Desk, respectively).

Responsibilities
A typical day in this role can include:
" Proactively and efficiently manage the complex calendar of the business leaders and help prioritise meetings based on business needs.
" Assist with all meeting logistics, small to large events and other ad-hoc administrative tasks.
" Maintain accuracy of complex data by using Microsoft systems and tools to meet compliance standards.
" Ability to look ahead and understand the prioritisation of key objectives and help manage the deliverables/priorities.
" Schedule customer, partner, employee morale, all hands, off-sites etc.
" Plan & coordinate domestic and international travel from end to end.
" Reconcile, submit and review expense reports in compliance with company policy.
" Proactively provide administrative and staffing support to the team, including but not limited to space, tracking assets, procurement, headcount management, new/internal on boarding and event management.
" Maintain group information with confidentiality and integrity. Use discretion to make decisions within your area of responsibility.
" Procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supply, reference materials and facility requests.
" Manage aliases and support new employee setup (office, equipment, etc.)
" Manage budget processes, producing reports, planning, managing and tracking operating expenses for the teams
" Plan, coordinate and execute team morale events by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem-solving and making adjustment to plans as needed.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
" Administration Experience, including events, budgets, & procurement exposure.
" Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, OneNote, Visio, SharePoint, Teams)
" Demonstrated work experience in a fast-paced administrative capacity supporting executives.
" Proactive in anticipating executives needs and able to work independently to make administrative decisions and possess executive maturity.
" Ability to effectively manage a high priority and time sensitive workload with a calm, confident and positive attitude, ability to work independently, deal with ambiguity and have a passion for making managers and organisations great.
