Business Manager Associate
Thames Valley Park, Reading

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Business Manager Associate. This is a contract role based in Reading for 6 months initially, then up for possible review for 18 months extension.

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the on site health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.

Salary: 50,000 - 56,3000 depending on experience

Job Description
Our company exists to lead customer innovation through pursuit excellence. Simply put, we are responsible for responding to the verbally and non-verbally articulated needs of our customer with quality proposals. The Business Management Office (BMO) functions to support the business excel in meeting its core accountability of driving deal velocity, achieving sales targets and driving quality.

In this role you will be working as part of a virtual team (Reston, TVP, Dubai), joining calls covering all time zones to support the existing ROB, helping drive the development of dashboard requirements & metric definition; but also helping drive the BMO function forward.

Responsibilities
A typical day in the role includes:
" Provide support to the GPO Business Manager in the collection, analysis and articulation of data to enable GPO to derive insights that help us meeting our core accountability.
" Preparing data sets and visualisations for monthly & quarterly business reviews
" Analyse data trends to understand the underlying issues and to formulate strategies to drive impact.
" Prepare adhoc data sets and presentations for GPO Executive/customer interactions.
" Support the BMO Team in Business Management Functions (actions tracking & work flow management)
" Proactively identifying areas where we can impact our core accountability.

Candidate Requirements
" Demonstrate experience in analysing data to provide causal analysis and formulate strategies.
" Strong data analysis skills in Excel, connecting to and manipulating data sets
Exposure to PowerBI with the ability to understand its capabilities.
" Ability to maintain simple SharePoint data table structures.
" Self-motivating - working as part of global team of four (located in Reading, Reston & Dubai).

Qualifications
" We need a good data person, who has business acumen.
" Prior-MSFT/Service highly beneficial
" Strong in Excel & PoweBI (taking different data sources and manipulating them to drive insights)
" Senior stakeholder communications experience
