Where in the world of OVO will I be working?
You will be working within In Home Technology (IHT) in the Field Operations Support Team, reporting to the Field Logistics Lead who oversees the Field Force Logistics operation.
As part of a wider team within IHT, you will gain a rich understanding of all the moving parts which feed into the installation of smart meters, energy products, logistics and fleet processes.
Our aim is to help customers manage their energy usage and to support the UK's drive to reduce carbon emissions. Therefore, we have plans to develop our field force to support exciting new products which will help customers improve their home’s energy efficiency, electric vehicle charging solutions and in home experience.
What will I be doing?
In this role you will:
- Manage and maintain the full OLEV Grant and G59 application process, focusing on the ‘Right 1st Time’ conformity
- Work closely with the OVO retail team to ensure all team members are clear on the basics of information required to claim the OLEV Grant and the importance of accurate information
- Make full final submission checks to ensure we ascertain all correct documents in-line with the submission deadline.
- Report on a weekly basis to the Operations Team on the progress of all submissions and rejections
- Be adept at managing stakeholder relationships both externally and internally
- Work closely with EnTech installation and share onboarding/recruitment updates
- Work closely with our Quality and Governance team to manage any H&S, risk and compliance
- Support the rest of the team to drive efficiency and reduce cost
- Be able to problem solve, with a ‘find a way’ attitude
- Ultimately, we’re still a new and dynamic team, and you’ll have the opportunity to shape your role over time!
Do I have what it takes?
You will be hands-on and a starter-finisher, able to pick up an issue and feel enabled to resolve it. You’ll need to be passionate about customer service and also be a confident and clear communicator. You’ll need to be up for a challenge and excited by the opportunity to build the team and its’ processes up from scratch! You’ll develop strong relationships with other Field Support teams such as Training, Supply Chain, Outbound and Scheduling and work with them to improve processes. A healthy dose of enthusiasm is also a must.
