We are seeking an experienced and professional administrator to provide high-level, proactive and confidential secretarial support a Director of Planning on a temporary assignment starting in September to end October beginning of November in Nottingham City Centre.
The PA will provide seamless administrative support to the Director, to include being a first point of contact for enquiries; the screening and prioritisation of emails and other correspondence; diary management; facilitating arrangements for meetings and events, liaising with external clients as appropriate.
The PA may also undertake other administrative and project-related duties to support the work of the wider department.
We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
You will have a proven ability to complete tasks to deadlines across a multi project environment by using your initiative and prioritising your own workload.
You will have strong influencing skills as well as being an excellent communicator, both verbally and in written correspondence, along with the ability to build strong relationships across the organisation. Understanding of the use of confidential data and sensitive information is a must.
You will have advanced skills in Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook and Powerpoint, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to new software and systems.
