Vacancy for Receptionist/Dispenser
Fixed 9 Months contract to cover maternity leave
An opportunity has arisen for a receptionist/dispenser to join our friendly team based on the Lizard peninsula in an area of natural outstanding beauty. We have 2 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 2 part-time Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and support staff to 2,900 patients.
Hours will be 32½ hrs per week worked from Tuesday to Friday.
Duties to include, reception work, dealing with Patients face to face, telephone enquiries, booking appointments, processing prescriptions, dispensing drugs.
Candidates should have knowledge of computers, ability to type and typing skills, flexibility to cover holidays and sickness and a sense of humour. Experience not essential as training will be given in general office duties. Online training required to be undertaken for dispensing of medications which is NVQ qualification.
