An amazing opportunity to set up an organisation's Data Analytics processes for capturing data from many external sources.

Location:- Central London
Salary:- £90,000 basic + Bonus + Package

Role Description
This organisation is in its infancy recently acquiring government & private funding to go live and move ahead operating within the Rail / Transportation sector. The business plan for 2018 is to grow to 100 people in the organisation with their growth target of 200 people by 2020.

As the Head of Data Analytics in the first instance you will be sitting down with the MD and business leads to understanding the business plan and objectives they are setting out. Then taking their initial thoughts on the information they require and how to set up the relevant tools to collect the data required. This will come from many external parties as you will be collating on passenger numbers, passenger spending, daily usage of the train network, local authorities population plans, future developments etc…

Day one it will be developing and implementing the systems and processes required to collate the correct information / Data. This will involve looking at what they need for the various reports to internal & external stakeholders as well as government departments linked to the Rail industry. Once the processes are set up you will be able to recruit a Analyst to support the data collect and processing leaving you to prepare the reports and dash boards for the information required by the business.

Required Experience

• You need to be in a Lead Analytical position within the UK
• Have the ability to set up an organisations Analytical / Data collection systems and processes.
• At first you will need to be hands on in setting up and running the systems and processes then recruiting support for your team as the day to day data capture is required.
