Senior Library Assistant (part time, 15 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting for a part time Senior Library Assistant to join our Library Team.

As part of the library team you will ensure the provision of high quality library and information services to students and staff. Deputising for the Librarian you will ensure that companywide policies are implemented and that a proactive approach is taken to providing the best possible service in the library. You will deliver and assist in the design of workshops for the students.

For this role you will need to have previous library experience. Ideally this will have been in an academic or legal library although this is not essential. If you have legal research knowledge it would be an advantage. You will be customer service focussed and must have excellent IT skills. Experience in presenting or delivering workshops would be an advantage but not necessary but you will need to feel comfortable doing it. Strong numeracy skills along with good oral and written communication skills are a must.
