Mechanic / Vehicle Fitter / Vehicle Technician / Auto Electrician / Vehicle Conversions - We have new job opportunities for our client who are a leading Automotive ang logistics company based across the UK. With ongoing expansion in place, we are looking for experienced time served or qualified Vehicle Technicians who can do mechanical and electrical work to a high standard
The Job: Vehicle Fitter / Vehicle Technician / Auto Electrician / Vehicle Conversion
We are looking for qualified Vehicle technicians / Mechanics to assist within a very busy bodyshop / repair centre.
Previous experience is essential, working on Vehicle conversions or Mechanical work.
* Accessories fitment duties will be undertaken such as Satellite Navigation units, tow bars, roof bars, parking sensors, roof light beacons etc.
* Electrical fitment/ racking/ roof bars / Cradles
* Your main duties will include: aftermarket electronics fitment, multipoint servicing, fault finding / diagnostics and general repairs.
* You will be working on LCV Mercedes vans, converting them to the client specification,
* As a skilled vehicle technician / vehicle fitter you will join our team of talented technicians responsible for maintenance and repair work of motor vehicles for our customers.
* The right person will be a team player who works well under pressure and has a passion for both customer service and keeping up to date with the latest automotive technologies.
* You will have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing.
* You will also be conversant with current diagnostic equipment, possess an aptitude of technical skills, hold a full and valid UK driving license and have a manufacturer background.
* No more than 6 points on driving licence for minor offences only, and minimum of 2 years driving experience is required
The Job: Vehicle Fitter / Vehicle Technician / Auto Electrician / Vehicle Conversion
* Hours are 12 Hour nightshifts Monday to Friday 6pm - 6am
* GBP16.00 - GBP18 per hour
* We will consider either qualified or time served technicians.
