As a graduate Cover Supervisor, you will be leading lessons on a cover basis in the absence of the Class Teachers across a range of Key Stages and subjects. In addition to your classroom cover duties, you will have the opportunity to help effectively plan, observe and deliver lessons jointly with knowledgeable Teachers in a classroom that best matches your degree specialism to hone your teaching skills. You will be expected to manage the behaviour of students as their Cover Supervisor whilst they are undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment.

The right candidate for this Cover Supervisor position will be graduate with at least a 2.1 in their degree who can use their passion for teaching to build a career in education. This Cover Supervisor post requires a graduate who has the skills to develop and nurture working relationships with all members of the faculty and student body. The school are hoping to meet a Cover Supervisor who has previous experience working in a school.
