Head of Mortgage Advice

Our client has been working to create a revolutionary mortgage product: A digital journey that enables you to re-mortgage your property online. In short, our client is rebuilding the entire mortgage process around their customers. We are looking for a senior industry professional to head up the Mortgage Advice team to support, lead and deliver excellent customer experience alongside delivering quality Mortgage Advice. The successful individual will have a Mortgage Advice background and will have led coached and developed mortgage advisors combined with experience gained within a whole of market mortgage advisory business. It will also be essential to hold the full Cemap qualification., * Lead, Coach and develop the team creating an atmosphere in which they can flourish (currently 8 advisors, 5 case managers and one Team Leader) * Act as a whole of market mortgage guru (e.g product, lender and criteria knowledge) and be the go to person with more complex cases * Carry out staff one to ones * Work with Head of Risk and Compliance to coach any CAS performance gaps * Lead team training sessions both informally and formal * Oversee the update to all training and process manuals * Identify future talent and support them to reach their full potential * Work collaboratively with the Product and Tech Development teams to build a customer proposition that is what their clients want * Seek to automate operational inefficiencies and track success factors * Collate, analyse and challenge case and advisor MI to constantly raise the performance bar * Assist the COO with building out the operational control framework within the Mortgage Advisor team * Support customers with mortgage advice, recommending products based on their individual circumstances * The successful candidate will need to have a Mortgage Advice background, combined with experience of leading, coaching and developing a team with experience gained in a Whole of Market advisory business For more information regarding the role of Head of Mortgage Advice please contact us on * Private healthcare * Pension scheme * 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) * Heavily subsidized caf ?? * Company social events * Generous training budget * Annual discretionary bonus * Flexible benefits scheme (health, dental care, massages and physio, gym membership)
