Management Accountant. Our client, a large company based in Leicestershire, part of an international group, has engaged Paul Mitchell Associates to recruit a Management Accountant. You will be a fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and have a strong background within the following areas;

*Business operating expenses excluding depreciation and amortisation.
*Key analysis and commentary to the board
*Ensuring procedural compliance
*Monthly review and approval of provisions and accruals
*Reconciliation on a monthly basis
*Review and analysis of head office expenses
*Create, review and implement standard reporting procedures
*Group consolidation
*Previous or current knowledge of US/UK GAAP would be useful
*Support with the financial audit and production of draft UK statutory accounts to include Group consolidation
*Setting up, updating and maintaining management information packs

Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

*Post qualification experience within industry
*Experience of working in practice (ideally Big 4 but not essential)
*Statutory accounts experience
*Experience of coaching
*SOX / Internal controls experience
