IT Business Partner (Business Analyst, Project Manager, Engagement) MEAR69804

North Region – Ideally daily commutable distance of Leeds.

Circa £45,000 depending on experience

Here at Mears Group our vision is to make a positive difference to the communities we serve.

We do this by improving homes, improving communities and improving lives and our approach is based on the development of outstanding partnerships with employees, clients, tenants, customers, their families and the wider community.

With staff of all ages and walks of life, a job with Mears has a rewarding impact on the lives of others and your own life. With offices across the UK, a job at Mears could be just around the corner.

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an IT Business Partner to join us. Based around the Leeds area and with a focus on our northern branches, the role will occasionally have the need to work nationally where specific projects require it.

Within this role, you will be responsible for being the conduit between the IT Department and the Business in relation to our IT systems and processes. This position has a large element of project and change management but is balanced by a need to ensure outputs and targets are met through owning certain tasks including delivery and implementation.  Demonstrable experience of stakeholder engagement and management is essential.

You will be involved in a wide range of projects depending on the needs of the business at any times. This could be the Mobilisation of New Contracts, including engaging with clients, specifying interfaces, managing data loads, supporting process mapping and documenting support requirements through to Change Management on existing branches/sites/clients where an IT change is required.

Due to the role being based in the business, away from the central IT teams, it is imperative the applicant is able to work in a methodical manner and be self-managing of their work load and requirements.

Whilst social housing experience is of benefit, we are really looking for people who can demonstrate a high level of customer service, a methodical way of working, and an ability to learn new skills.

You will need to be IT literate due to the subject matter, but the role is as much about people as technical, so a balance of the two is preferable.

Once you join the family, you'll have online access to a range of voluntary and flexible benefits, including...

  • Training and development
  • Long service and additional holiday leave - Colleagues who stay for a period of time at Mears are rewarded for their service.
  • Seeing first-hand the impact you have on the lives of the people you support

Mears Group PLC and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunities Employers
