Our leading timber engineering specialist client is located at multiple manufacturing sites across the United Kingdom. With a turnover in excess of £25million their product range includes Roof Trusses, Spandrel Panels, I-Joists and Metal Web Joists.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key position within the Senior Management Team. The role has become vacant due to internal promotion and will involve leading a small team of experienced Sales Managers to maximise sales and develop new business opportunities and areas for potential growth.

Areas of Responsibility:

· Setting budgets and ensuring these are met, both individually with key client relationships, and within the team.

· Manage a small team of Sales Managers to ensure targets are achieved.

· Seek out new opportunities for business development.

· Have key relationships in place and be able to maintain these relationships.

· Assist in dispute resolution and ensure customer satisfaction.

· Market intelligence and product knowledge

· Management of Sales team

· Implement and drive forward strategic agenda

· Business Awareness & Understanding

· Ability to build rapport and maintain key relationships in the market place

Personal Specification:

· Good market knowledge of sector

· A thorough understanding of all Company products and services

· Excellent people management skills

· Proven sales experience

· Excellent communication skills

· Valid UK Driving Licence

· Well presented at all times

You may currently be working as a National Sales Executive, Sales Person, Sales Manager, Sales Representative or a Business Development Manager.
