About the Role…

Joining us as Digital Co-ordinator, you will coordinate the delivery of JJH’s Digital Engagement strategy by assessing the current ICT & Wi-Fi provision, providing technical support to Independent Living schemes and training to residents and digital champions.

This role will require you to work on your own initiative and involve extensive travel across the three JJH regions to allow you to develop relationships with JJH colleagues and residents; building up their confidence to engage digitally especially with JJH. It will also develop partnerships with training providers and funders to support the JJH digital programme.

What we’re looking for...

Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, the successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage own workload, delivering outcomes with minimal supervision. You’ll need to have strong ICT skills including database management and MS Office packages along with the ability to solve general device problems including setting, configuring and resolving complex issues with tablets, laptops and printers. As the front face of ICT, you will need to be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to allow you to relay information to our residents in a clear and concise manner.

This role involves extensive travel and occasional overnight stays therefore a flexible approach and a full UK driving licence is essential.

A relevant IT qualification would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of sourcing and coordinating funding (partners, government grant opportunities etc).
