Reed’s School is one of the leading Independent Day and Boarding Schools in the country providing an education for over 700 pupils. The School is all boys from 11-16 and has a co-educational Sixth Form.

We are seeking to recruit an individual with excellent organisational, customer service and interpersonal skills to assist the RSE Deputy Manager in the day-to-day running of the Reed’s School shop. The role-holder will assist in selling uniform, sports equipment and kit and sell school tuck during break times. 

Applicants must be able to effectively communicate with pupils, parents and staff to ensure an efficient, professional and friendly service at all times. Previous experience of working within a retail role is essential, including working knowledge of stock management and bank reconciliation.

The hours of work will be 12.30pm to 4.45pm, Monday to Friday during term time plus an additional 4 weeks over the School holidays. The School Shop Assistant will also be required to attend some school events such as Open Mornings at weekends and during the evenings to sell uniform to parents.
