This is an exciting opportunity to work for an amazing charity - the RSPB. From the impressive wetlands of Ouse Fen to the incredible biodiversity of Minsmere, stone curlew in the brecks and globablly important habitats in The Wash. The rich habitats that our network of reserves and areas of conservation are vitally important but we need to do more.

Nature is in big trouble, but we've got big plans to save it, can you help us?

From now until 2030, The RSPB will be focusing on some ambitious plans and targets - working together with the public and its partners to collectively change the fate of nature. The successful candidate will be an ambassador for the RSPB and will enthuse and inspire the public to support the RSPB through membership.

The successful candidate will become part of the RSPB Eastern England face-to-face membership team.
This role will involve working across a wide variety of offsite venues and locations, enthusing, inspiring and recruiting new RSPB members. Full training and support will be given to enable the highest levels of success.

A work van is provided, so applicants should be comfortable loading and unloading a van, happy to work 3 out of 4 weekends, bank holidays and occasional unsociable hours when required. A full driving license is required.

We have two roles available, one in Essex and one in Hertfordshire but both will involve working throughout the region.

This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. You will be asked to declare unspent convictions and cautions at offer of employment stage.
