A growing construction business in Southampton is recruiting a Senior Credit Controller to join their team on a 6 month temporary basis. This role offers free parking, flexible working and an excellent working environment. This role is situated within a reputable company who promote a collaborative working environment and operate from 7 depots across the UK.
As a Credit Controller, you will report into the Finance Manager, duties include:
• Chasing overdue accounts by phone, letter and email
• Reconciliation and cash posting of receivables
• Processing new account application forms
• Securing Credit Agency Reports, credit checking, processing accounts on CRM and sending offer letters to new accounts and Sales Managers
• Answer incoming phone calls to the department, dealing with queries as they arise
• Monitoring the credit control mailbox
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
• Qualified by experience or studying AAT / ICM
• Previous experience in a similar role including Credit Controller, Sales Ledger Clerk or Accounts Receivable Clerk
• Working knowledge of any of the following: SAP, Oracle, Navision, or Sage
