Electrical Fitter / Technician
Doncaster
My client design and manufacture packaging equipment and automation, and are looking for an electrically biased technician to join their production team.
The successful applicant will work as part of an established team to complete all aspects of electrical works relating to the assembly and build of the equipment. Working from electrical drawings they will be expected to be able to wire, test and fault find on a full range of industrial packaging equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Control Panel assembly & Machine wiring
Perform all Machine & Control Panel checks prior to handover to PLC Programmer to include, Earth tests, Rotation & I/O checks.
Fault tracing, assessing and reporting on newly built packaging machinery & a wide range of static electrical site plant.
Assist with site maintenance.
EXPERIENCE
Full electrical engineering apprenticeship or recognised practical qualifications.
Qualified with a good understanding of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Understanding and ability to read electrical wiring & Schematic diagrams.
Experience of working with 415V three phase electrical systems
