A leading care provider in the UK is currently recruiting for support workers to support residents in a brand new supported living service based in Braintree that holds 10 residents with learning disabilities, associated mental health needs and forensic histories.

The residents will be living in self contained flats with high staffing numbers.

The company is a non for profit organisation which provides high quality person-centred support to people with mental, physical and learning disabilities.

Set up in 1990 they have grown to provide person centred care and support to over 2,500 people in more than 50 local authorities

Your role will involve you developing and sustaining warm, trusting relationships with the residents, promote their self-esteem, happiness and emotional health, respect the clients right to privacy and to ensure their dignity is maintained and encouraging residents to express their needs, views, concerns and live as independent a life as possible whilst ensuring the highest level of care are achieved.

Due to the nature of this role, we would need for you to have experience working with clients with learning disabilities or mental health, have a person centred approach, live locally or in travelling distance to Braintree and be flexible to work on a rota.
