We have an exciting opportunity at West Suffolk Councils to become a System Support joining our dedicated Planning & Regulatory Business System team based in Bury St Edmunds. In return, you will receive a competitive starting salary £20,541 - £21,074 per annum depending on qualifications/experience (potentially rising to £24,657 through annual Performance Review awards.

Our ideal System Support:

In this role you will be one of the System Support Officers for all of the systems used within Planning and Regulatory Services developing specialised knowledge in our databases (Uniform, Northgate and Lalpac).  You will provide support to officers within the service using these systems, and work with managers to ensure that the systems are used in the most efficient and effective manner.

You will possess excellent communication and IT skills, with proven experience of working with databases.  The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, be highly organised, with an attention to detail and accuracy are all essential for this role as well as being a team player. 

We would welcome applicants who may not necessarily have the relevant experience/qualifications but would be willing to learn and progress into this role.
