As our Communications Manager, your talent will be recognised as you play an influential role in one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the UK.

About the role

Experienced and enthusiastic, you will lead Horizon Nuclear Power’s communications activities in Wales at our Wylfa Newydd site.

Responsibilities include:

• Establishing an effective communications strategy
• Managing and supporting the communications team and Horizon team
• Maintaining brand consistency of internal and external messages
• Handling crisis situations and advising senior executives

You will need to have experience of:

• Working in a fast-moving environment
• Using a wide range of communications platforms to tell a complex story simply
• Being a great people manager, able to motivate and encourage a team.
• Reading and writing in Welsh, however we’d still love to hear from you if you’re willing to learn

Desirable:

• Previous experience of working on a development project
• Some knowledge of the nuclear industry would be beneficial
