Salary: £13,841 – £14,738

Contract Type: Permanent, term time only, 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

We are recruiting for a Receptionist for our Hair and Beauty Salons. The successful candidate will Provide excellent customer service to external salon clients and support learners with their studies in the sector.  You will be experienced in, and passionate about, the sector and share this with all those who enter Inspirations, working on your own initiative and with minimal supervision.  You will be innovative in your approach to trends in retail within the sector, respond to seasonal events with displays and stock that meet the clients’ needs and enable wider retail sales. You will maintain high levels of health and safety, completing risk assessments for salon areas and adhering to client booking requirements prior to treatments such as patch-testing.

You will have vocational qualifications in Hair and/or Beauty to at least level 2, experience of using IT and electronic booking systems, have English and maths at level 2 (GCSE grade c or above), and customer service/retail experience in the industry. Ideally you will also have an IT qualification and a First Aid at Work qualification. This is a fast-paced environment where you will have to deal with a variety of customer requests, and be adaptable to working in a learner-centred environment.
