Here at Solon South West Housing Association we have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Housing Project Worker with responsibility for Communications and PR to join our team based in Bath on a part-time, permanent basis. You will receive a salary of £19,464 - £22,332 per annum (pro rata £15,571 – £17,865).

Solon is an independent, locally-led, non-profit housing association working mainly in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We provide a diverse range of housing solutions to 1200 affordable homes. Residents are at the heart of everything we do. Our main focus is on tailoring services to address their specific needs, and providing new homes to meet the significant shortage of affordable housing. We are working hard to provide outstanding service and be expertly-led.

The Supported Housing Project Worker role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Rackfield House to join the team in Bath. Rackfield House is a 20 bed scheme providing temporary accommodation with support for single homeless people. We are committed to providing a quality service and to continuous improvement. We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the scheme’s small and dedicated support team.  The part time post will include managing resident led support structure for a range of people with extra support needs including our innovative 4 bed Post Alcohol Detox Service. Other responsibilities include liaising with specialist support agencies including drug and alcohol services, Mental Health and Learning Disability services, collection of accommodation charges and overseeing and maintaining health and safety of the scheme. 

Our ideal Supported Housing Project Worker will have the below skills and experience:

- Experience of working with people in a busy supported housing environment
- A systematic approach to managing administrative tasks with the ability to multitask methodically and effectively
- A desire to work with vulnerable adults and provide them with a safe and welcoming environment
