RSR Police are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work in a permeant position based in Abingdon. To be consider you will need to be a PRINCE 2 Practitioner and have experience in dealing with the whole project lifecycle as well as methodologies relating to change control, estimating and the identification of benefits.
Job Purpose
* To lead and delivery of People related projects supporting the delivery of the People Strategy.
Role
* Responsible for management of the assigned projects within agreed tolerances and controls.
* Planning and forecasting expenditure and assessing impacts on related budgets throughout the life of the project
* End-to-end responsibility for defining and delivering the CNC people change projects
* Controlling and coordinating the activities of project/change teams
* Overseeing project planning activity, identify interdependencies, technical solutions and opportunities, and actively manage project risks and issues
* Handover of the project to business change teams for implementation as business as usual, controlling the process of project closure
* Providing support and guidance to Business Change Managers and their teams on the most effective implementation of the project outputs
* Facilitating workshops and other forums for project definition and business case production, stakeholder engagement, benefits mapping and realisation, tendering and procurement activity, after action reviews and lessons learned
* Taking responsibility for project governance and exception reporting through accepted project management methodologies such as APM/ PRINCE2
* Acting as the main point of contact for all matters related to assigned projects, including direct liaison with internal and external project stakeholders; preparing reports to ensure stakeholders are kept fully informed of project status and progress.
