To liaise with other departments on a daily basis, challenging their involvement with stock control management
* Carry out systematic processes for rejected stock, rework as required
* Carry out internal requests for stock checks and report findings within set timeframe
* Control stock required for disposal maintaining records and report
* Collate information required for bi-weekly meeting and attend meetings
* Investigate stock discrepancies (physical checks and system interrogation) within a set timeframe and report findings. Maintain investigation levels to set target
* Monitor stock levels of packed/bulk stock in warehouses to ensure consumption within minimum shelf life and report findings
* Stock check schedule is completed on time in full
* Carry out spot checks on a monthly basis at 3rd party warehouse and report
* Supervisory role in end of year stock take
* Continual improvement in reduction of stock discrepancies. Achieving set target levels
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
* Experience of stock control and reporting
* Strong communication and organisational skills/ability to prioritise workload
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience of controlling procedural compliance
* Excellent IT and numeracy skills
* Experience of using a stock control computer system, knowledge of Access Supply Chain would be beneficial
* Excel knowledge/PowerPoint would be advantageous
* Forklift licence - Reach
* Ability to lift 25kg
