Network and Voice Functional Lead

We are looking to strengthen our service bringing professional dedicated and skilled staff into our permanent structure. We have several vacancies in our operations team and are keen to recruit candidates who can take responsibility, be open honest and respectful, actively listen and learn and work together to find solutions.

As Networks and Voice Functional Lead you'll manage a team of network and voice services support-focused staff, ensuring the customer receives a joined-up and reliable service and the support tasks are managed and resolved to Operational level agreements OLA and Service Level agreements SLA outcomes. In addition, you'll be accountable for operational Network Service Delivery across ICT and the rest of the organisation to ensure Enfield Council needs are met and act as escalation point to/from for the service.

You'll use your skills and experience to manage the service as per agreed governance and operational activities in conjunction with other ICT functions and to help streamline solutions so they are fit for purpose and future proof working with an Enterprise Architecture team to design a future state. Ideally, you will bring experience of Skype for Business, Solar Winds, and contact centre telephony solutions.

In the absence of the ICT Operations Manager this role will be required to deputise and act as the primary escalation point and communication channel to/from all other IT teams and third parties.

This service may be provided 24 x 7 x 365. As such, there may be times when the you will be required to be available out of hours, including weekends.
