Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - electrical bias job in Kettering. Double day shifts. GBP38-GBP40K

Their customer portfolio ranges from blue chip organisations, FMCG companies, government bodies and charitable organisations. They employ over 300 people at their Kettering site with experienced and talented people in every role, their customers are always in safe hands.
Your new role
You will be providing swift and accurate servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment. Your key focus areas will be fault diagnosis and troubleshooting electrical, electronic and mechanical problems on machines, driving a pro-active maintenance and repair approach through PPM schedules and re-acting quickly to breakdowns. You will also ensure that adequate and appropriate spare parts are readily available.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a recognised Industrial Electrical qualification up to IEE 17th Edition and have experience of working as a multi-skilled maintenance electrician with the ability to carry out mechanical repairs. You are able to read and fault find from electrical and electronic schematic drawings and you will have demonstrable experience of working with a preventative maintenance schedule. Your good verbal communication and the ability to communicate complex technical information to Managers, suppliers and OEMs will be essential for you in this job. You're self-motivated with the ability to apply initiative when tackling repairs and maintenance. You have a working Knowledge of PLC controls, primarily Siemens, and Inverter AC Drives.
