We are working with a local NHS site who are looking to recruit a Senior Administrator to work within HR.
You will be working as part of a team to provide a comprehensive recruitment advisory and transactional administrative service to designated divisions for medical positions, ensuring that recruitment is undertaken in a timely and professional way having regard for cost, quality and Trust policy, working closely with directorate line managers to deliver their workforce recruitment needs.
To develop and line manage a Medical HR Administrator
The role in brief:
* To advise line managers on the most appropriate approach to recruitment including media, advertising copy, selection methodology and recruitment process and timescales.
* To administer the recruitment process for all medical staffing roles and 'trouble shoot' recruitment delays to meet the operational priorities.
* To participate in recruitment panels to ensure HR issues are properly dealt with and pre-employment checks are completed in accordance with Trust Policy and give result feedback
* To provide a comprehensive recruitment service within milestones using such information technology systems as are procured for the purpose, including but not limited to preparing all necessary documentation and ensuring that processes are completed and appointments committees or panels held within agreed timescales.
* To monitor recruitment initiatives to ensure that any issue which might affect success are identified to line managers and appropriate interventions agreed.
* To ensure that payroll, sickness processes are followed
* Guide the HR administrator on work flow and priorities
The ideal candidate with have:
* Good working and practical knowledge of range of recruitment approaches and their appropriateness for specific needs
* Worked as recruiter in complex organisation
* Up to date knowledge of recruitment employment law and requirements for pre-employment screening including immigration, references and DBS.
* Good general education to CPP or equivalent experience
* Confident communication skills and the ability to line manage one direct report.
