Spire London East Hospital are looking to add a new GP Engagement Manager to their expanding Business Development Team. Responsible for sourcing new GP's, Dentists and Opthalmologists in the local area, this position will take a lead on increasing revenue for the Hospital during an exciting period of growth and development

Spire London East Hospital (formerly Spire Roding) is located in Redbridge, on the borders of East London and Essex. We offer comprehensive private hospital services, ranging from outpatient clinics and physiotherapy to surgery and diagnostic tests in a relaxed, clean and comfortable environment.

The hospital has 24 inpatient beds and 16 day case rooms called 'pods'. Facilities include four operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, 2 extended recovery units, pharmacy, x-ray, outpatient and diagnostic facilities and are the official Private Hospital to West Ham Utd FC.

Duties and responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager and working closely with the Marketing Executives the prime function of the role is to attract new GP's, Dentists and Opthalmologists to the Hospital. With an expectation of 12 - 20 visits per week, this role will involve meeting GP's and Practice Managers whilst working with Marketing to create events all designed at attracting them to the Hospital. The target area will be the City, East London and West Essex with the odd requirement to expand further.

Who we're looking for

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role but this is by no means essential as primarily we are looking for someone with high energy, is self-motivated and has excellent diary management as this role provides true autonomy to manage your own time. Experience in booking your own appointments and generating sales leads would be an added bonus.
