Community Leader, Full Time, based near Bootle
35 hours pw for 5 days on a rolling rota basis with 1 in 2 weekends

The reason why this is an interesting and worthwhile opportunity is because you will be managing and supporting the welfare and care of vulnerable people in the community. So for you that means using all your skills ranging from individual empathy to team leadership.
The job role has responsibilities for leading the planning of community accommodation and the support, development, supervision and training needs of employees and volunteers all working together as a team to support homeless people across Sefton.
The post holder will support the social enterprise business activity of this community-based charity ensuring excellent external relationships and meeting health and safety and equality of opportunity procedures.
You will have good communication and IT skills and be a team player showing commitment, flexibility and being adaptable to change. It is essential that you have understanding, experience and training related to working with vulnerable people and challenging behaviours and a Diploma or Degree related to the job role is desirable. If you've got experience with working with a Board of Trustees that would also be useful.
Key Duties:
Community development and liaising with external relations
Training and supporting staff and volunteers
Policy implementation and development
Administration and planning
Health and safety
