Senior Poultry Nutritionist - UK

A senior poultry nutritionist is required for a feed supplement company in Great Britain with an enviable reputation for product innovation, excellent animal performance and a high level of customer service. The successful applicant will have a second nutritional animal science degree but more importantly will be able to command the respect of UK major feed manufacturers and their poultry farmer customers as well as third party technical consultants acting on behalf of customers. This post requires good poultry nutritional knowledge plus a good commercial outlook. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a track record in formulations, quality assurance in either an animal feed or supplement manufacturing environment where animal performance is paramount. A good understanding of feed legislation, poultry nutrition and feed production manufacturing are important along with the confidence and experience to support the commercial sales and marketing team with major customers.

The role will be responsible for maintaining a high level of technical support to existing customers and developing new business opportunities across the company's product range. The successful candidates will take charge of all poultry formulations for customers and as well as reporting nutrition staff.
