Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Finance Office Manager to join a well-established family business in Sheffield.

This role will be a challenging & varied position where you will be given responsibility and autonomy from day one. With the ability to manage an office & a small finance team, you will be pivotal in ensuring deadlines are met, workloads are delegated and will be able to prioritise your time effectively.

The main duties of the role are to include:

*Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting to The Board
*Assist the Directors and the Management Team with the Company's growth strategy
*Attend and contribute to Management Meetings
*Management Accounting to Profit & Loss stage and overall responsibility for:
*Bank statement reconciliation
*Calculating VAT and PAYE payments
*Payment runs
*Credit control (including reduction of backlog of outstanding debtors)
*Depositing payments
*Maintaining petty cash
*Monitoring daily cash flow
*Online bank account
*Payroll
*Producing sales and VAT invoices & statements
*Updating sales and purchase ledgers
*Build strong, mutually supportive relationships with the Directors and Management Team
*Cheque signatory
*Completion of National Statistics Forms, P11d & P11db information
*Create reports and obtain information from the ERP System for the Directors
*Day to day performance management of direct reports including training and development
*Initiate and develop improved processes throughout the business
*Liaise with the Company's external Accountants
*Manage cash flow and control spending as required
*Oversee Inland Revenue requirements
*Produce annual budgets in partnership with the Management Team
*Provide financial strategy, planning and monitoring of the business plan
*Responsible for the company's IT systems (together with the Technical Director) including the purchase, set up and maintenance of hardware & software
*Set up and/or streamline financial policies and procedures for the business

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

-Strong Excel skills (including Look Ups)
-Confident personality
-Ability to roll up sleeves and get stuck in
-Ability to communicate with people at all levels (from board level to factory workers)
