Excellent career opportunity which offers potential development to Project Management level with our client an established international organisation that designs and manufactures steel components for the construction industry.
They are currently seeking a Design Draftsman to work in their busy technical department and are considering both experienced candidates as well as recently qualified graduates / technicians with 6 month's + experience.
Your principle role shall be to work from layouts and specifications provided by architects, structural engineers and internal staff to produce technical drawings of company products and their application within projects.
Candidate requirements:
• Qualified to Degree, HNC, BTEC National level in Structural or Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or Construction related discipline.
• Previous experience of producing drawings within the construction industry
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
