Your new role
The team design and test televisions for the European market. You will be working to test and validate new TV designs that are in the prototype stage, these will include the award winning TV range running on the Android operating system. The latest generation of Tv's are largely software driven, then you will be comfortable using software tools and logs to test analyse the Tv's performance. Internet apps such as iPlayer, Netflix, YouTube etc and IOT solutions and all supported and may be part of the test sources you will be working with. You will learn about the related TV design standards, emerging new technologies such as HDR HbbTV etc and experience how design takes place in a leading organisation. From time to time you may be investigating issues that are raised by customers or operators from the market, you will confirm the analysis and details behind the issues, then look for solutions and remedies. As we are a major multinational managing European markets you should expect some overseas travel from time to time, once you are ready. Looking for all levels of Engineers from junior/graduate to experienced.

What you'll need to succeed
Passion for Technology
Must be local to Basingstoke
Fluent in English
Excellent Communication, Building Relationships
PC proficiency, analytical mind-set
Must be able to work as part of a cross-disciplinary team, demonstrate a methodical approach to work and be able to work with minor supervision.
Adaptable to different work priorities, can work off own initiative.
A keen interest (knowledge/experience) of test workflows, methodologies specification design, development, and execution
Willing/Drive to learn
