Claims Technician – Job description:

  • You will work alongside the ARN Adjusters and assist in the progression of losses up to £100,000 in value
  • As well as assisting with new instructions, you will have the ability and background knowledge to make the right decisions on each claim regarding settlement, policy cover and repudiation
  • You will be responsible for essential administrative tasks and provide support to the Adjuster on a daily basis
  • You will get healthcare, pension and numerous other benefits

 

Claims Technician – Essential skills:

  • You will be able to put yourself in our customer’s shoes, see the full picture and have the ability to make decisions based on the facts, treating all claims on their individual merits whilst providing excellent customer service
  • Customer focus with a track record of delivering outstanding levels of service
  • Experience of dealing with domestic & commercial property claims, up to the stated value
  • Superb communications skills - listening and acting upon information given
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the customers, to promote customer satisfaction during all stages of the claim
  • Understanding and empathy when required
  • Be able to prioritise your workload on a daily basis
  • Excellent keyboard skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ideally cert CII or working toward
