Estates Surveyor

My client, a large government organisation are currently seeking an Estates Surveyor to take on an initial 6 month contract in the Leeds area.

Overview/Responsibilities:

• Provide professional support to the client's major capital works programme to ensure timely delivery of the projects.
• Acquiring interest in land and access agreements and negotiating and settling compensation claims for losses and damage arising from the works on 3rd party land.

Experience required:

• RICS qualified
• Experience in work on compensation and valuation in respect of public sector infrastructure projects
• Securing interest in land and negotiating access for public sector infrastructure projects
• Some knowledge of managing a largely rural/operational estate including granting, reviewing of agricultural agreements
