Senior Support Worker role in Acton to work with those that have autism and other complex needs and to assist, develop and maintain a responsive support service to people with Mental Health, while ensuring that the support provided is efficient, effective and sustainable, resulting in the outcome of the individuals support plans.

You will also provide mentoring, peer support and assist with the development and day to day management of support staff. Tasks may include shift planning, overseeing the running of the shifts, making changes to rosters in line with changing needs.

To be considered for the role you would need to have a level 2/3 or willingness to work towards it and a driver`s license. You would need to have previous experience working with people with disabilities, including autistic spectrum disorders, supervising staff and being able to prioritise your own work load. Also an understanding of the principles of Health and safety and he rights of the people you will be supporting and the duties of staff within individuals homes.

37 Hours weekly and alternative weekends.
